Richard T. Lobas
Rich’s practice focuses on professional liability, including defense of other lawyers, architects, engineers, physicians, and mental health providers in complex litigation and grievances. He also represents Ohio real estate licensees, appraisers, and inspectors in civil litigation and administrative claims, including before the Ohio Civil Rights Commission.
Rich’s practice takes him to numerous state and federal courts, where he has successfully mediated cases and also prepared them for jury trial. His exceptional research and writing skills have resulted in resolution of numerous lawsuits through dispositive motion. His work was also key in obtaining a directed verdict for the firm’s clients in an extended multi-party jury trial.
Rich has briefed, argued and prevailed in multiple cases before the 8th District Court of Appeals.
Rich is a graduate of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where he served as an editor on the Global Business Law Review. He attended Miami University as well as St. Ignatius. He currently resides in the city of Cleveland.
